This unprocessed image was taken during Cassini's close approach to Dione on October 11, 2005. The image was taken with the narrow angle camera from a distance of approximately 6,400 kilometers (4,000 miles) from Dione and at a Sun-Dione-spacecraft, or phase, angle of 14 degrees. Resolution in the image is about 35 meters (114 feet) per pixel.
