This unprocessed image was taken during Cassini's close approach to Dione on October 11, 2005. The image was taken with the wide angle camera from a distance of approximately 8,000 kilometers (5,000 miles) from Dione and at a Sun-Dione-spacecraft, or phase, angle of 16 degrees. Resolution in the image is about 443 meters (1,454 feet) per pixel.
