The image was taken with the wide angle camera from a distance of approximately 14,500 kilometers (9,000 miles) from Dione and at a Sun-Dione-spacecraft, or phase, angle of 19 degrees. Resolution in the image is about 831 meters (2,727 feet) per pixel.
