Diving Over Enceladus
The latest findings from Cassini's daring, very close flyby over the surface of Enceladus and through its south polar plume have affirmed previous suspicions of a plume composition rich in organics and more extensive hotter-than-average regions on its south polar terrain, with the warmest regions reaching temperatures at least 63 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than previously measured.
